Fire Mages Chambers key

The Fire Mages Chambers key opens Fire Mages' chambers in Old Camp. Corristo of Old Camp carries it. Their inventory is reachable by pickpocketing during routines or looting after a fight, though the fight is tough. Stealing it before combat is recommended - confronting the owner risks faction reputation and may lock you out of nearby quests.

If you would rather pick the door, a lockpick from any merchant works on it; the Fire Mages Chambers key just removes the dexterity check and the chance to break a pick mid-rotation while you are in Old Camp. Corristo fights with 600 HP, so a stealth pickpocket is generally cheaper than a brawl - failing the steal still leaves the option open.
