Cell key

The Cell key opens Bandit's cell in Old Camp. Generic Old Camp guard in Old Camp carries it; pickpocket on patrol or take it off the body after a brawl. Stealing it before combat is recommended - confronting the owner risks faction reputation and may lock you out of nearby quests.

If you would rather pick the door, a lockpick from any merchant works on it; the Cell key just removes the dexterity check and the chance to break a pick mid-rotation while you are in Old Camp. Quest scripts reference it under Bar the Truth, so picking it up before that step opens shortcuts during dialogue.
