The Broken Tower key opens Broken tower entrance in Bartholo's Tower. It drops from Chest 06. The same container also drops 1 other item listed under "Also contains" below. Pick the container with a lockpick if you have not found the key yet; this entry only documents the canonical key route.
If you would rather pick the door, a lockpick from any merchant works on it; the Broken Tower key just removes the dexterity check and the chance to break a pick mid-rotation. The container also drops Ham, which is worth budgeting an extra inventory slot for the trip.
