Lares, the leader of the bandits, doesn't leave his hut very often. He's got two thugs by his side to keep people from bothering him with their problems. He's clever, cautious, and cunning- and he's got his men under control.
I got access to Lares' hut.

I gained his respect. He's in contact with Lares, and he'll hear about it. It earned me some reputation in the New Camp.
