• With the help of Diego I got Ian's permission. He said I should say EVERYTHING'S GOING TO BE FINE to Asghan. Apparently, that'll make him let me open the tunne l to lthe dark shafts.

• Met with Lester and his friends. Got explosives from Gorn for the tunnel, and a spell scroll to ignite them from Milten. Diego's gonna help me convince Ian.

• Lester guided me to a secret spot and I met the four friends. Gorn gave me explosives to open the tunel, Milten gave me a scroll to ignite them and Diego will help me to get Ian's permission.

• Gave me a hundred nuggs to get it for him - without mentioning his name. Said he'll let Diego know about it.

• Diego can help me to become STRONGER and more DEXTEROUS.

• This changes everything. If Diego rolls with them, he's got more influence in the colony than I thought. Not just among the Old Camp thugs, but across all the camps.These four; they might be the closest thing to real allies I've seen in this gods-forsaken place.

• Spoke to Thorus after the Fire Mages got wiped out. Said he didn't like it, but didn't seem surprised either. According to him, Corristo and the others forgot how things work here; power, not principles.

• I got Gomez's key! I must go now to open the door of that cell.

• Like Thorus predicted: New Campers ambushed us. We got lucky, though. (Thorus will want to hear about this.)

• All the mages are dead. I wanted to live there - must be nice there, and nobody needs it anymore. But Thorus gave me this sorta look. Think he didn't wanna let me in.

• You've got some nerve, bringin' a stolen design to me forge - from Gomez!

• The gurus sent me to get a book for Y'Berion, but that bastard Thorus won't let me in even though I've got the Master's sigil.

• I should also take someone along who could help me. Maybe Diego? He wanted to meet me anyway. (Location should be marked on the map he gave me.)

• He recommended that I find someone to help me get the focus stones, and I believe Diego might be the right person. He already told me to meet him in a secret location after I visit Saturas. I'll check the map he gave me.

• Diego just told me that Saturas, the great Water Mage requested to see me. He also gave me a map to meet him after talking to Saturas.

• Thorus stands at the gate like a statue carved out of bad intentions. Calls himself the head of the guards, and I believe it. The man barely gave me the time of day before brushing me off like lint. Said only those with real status get through the castle gate. Ore, loyalty, or a mage's blessing. Typical Old Camp hierarchy.

• Thorus will help me improve my STRENGTH and DEXTERITY.

• Here's how it stands, mate: Gomez wanted you gone, but someone, probably Raven or Thorus, stood up for you.

• Here's the deal: Gomez wanted you six feet under, but someone must've vouched for you. I'm guessin' Thorus.

• These infidels got what they deserved. Just be on the lookout for Gomez's bloodhounds.

• It's a mace design. Word is Gomez got it from the outside.

• Diego sent me to talk to Saturas and gave me a map with a meeting point.

• Ain't got much of a choice, eh? Gomez ain't one to forgive.

• Diego gave me an advice: Not to talk about the letter to anyone. People here would kill for it.

• Or I could add some tweaks to a warder armor if you've got it. Just like Thorus's - that shadowbeast engraving makes bandits piss their pants before you even draw your blade.

• Ever since the Fire Mages are dead, Gomez's been seein' traitors around every corner. Word is he was craftin' for the mages before they got done in.

• Gomez found out his precious design was missin', and he came straight for me. Of course. Huno ain't got the skill.

• Unless you've got Gomez's key or fingers blessed by the god of lockpicks ...

• Go talk to Thorus and become another one of Gomez's bloodhounds.

• Got the recipe for Dexter.

• Dexter was impressed. I'm sure he'll speak to Diego in my favor.

• Huno told me the Ore Barons threw Stone into Gomez's dungeons. They accused him of treason. I've got to find him, but I need to stay sharp. The Warders are so on edge lately, they'd probably take a swing at their own shadow.

• Got a job done for Thorus - left a good impression.

• Diego is good with his sword as he is with this tongue. I'm sure of that. With both, he's earned the respect of the rest of the Old Camp soldiers as well as that of his apprentices (are any if them still alive? Mental note: I should check this, for my own sake)
