Half a key
On its own the Half a key opens nothing. Combine it with the other half to form the Orc Graveyard key and unlock whatever that key opens. It drops from Chest 03. Keep both halves in your inventory: combining them in the menu produces the assembled key on the spot, no merchant or trainer needed.
Lockpicks cannot stand in for an assembled key here - the bytecode only accepts the combined item, so do not skip either half.
